My love for weddings is well documented but lately I’ve ben getting stressed about what to wear to weddings. We’ve got one tonight and I’m already fretting about what to wear. In all likelihood, I will be running it back in this dress that I picked up in New York before attending a friend’s wedding there. Yes, nothing like last minute shopping the day of the wedding with absolutely no back up plan.

No joke, I tried on almost every dress at Anthropologie before going with this swingy number. It was the clear winner because of the color (love the deep blue), the comfort (it’s crazy comfortable) and the pockets. I’m a sucker for pockets. They’re especially clutch at weddings so you can have your phone out with you on the dance floor. All in all, this is a solid option for any fall weddings you have coming up.

I will say that this dress runs pretty big. This is a medium and I could have probably gotten away with a small but they didn’t have one and we were running out of options. Definitely size down – possibly even down two sizes.
