Last week, I darted from work over to the Kentucky Center for cocktails to celebrate Louisville Magazine’s October Issue & Kick-Off the Festivities for Waterfront  Fashion Week. After catching up with WFW Organizer Peggy Duffy, it sounds like everything is coming together wonderfully and I’m counting down until next week’s big kick off.

I loved meeting Alexandria Mills, the 2010 Miss World, who will be emceeing the event. I chatted with her and her family about her travels, what she’s up to now and got all the details on her upcoming wedding. Mills wasn’t just stunning in person but was so fun, friendly and sweet. Definitely looking forward to seeing what she wears to WFW.
