Inspiration: ZARA Lookbooks

Aug 22, 2012

Alternate title: A Love Letter to ZARA

I wish we had a ZARA in Louisville. Other people may be eagerly anticipating our first Anthropologie (outsiders – go ahead and judge away), shopping happily at our new Urban Outfitters (let the judging continue) or wishing for a Nordstrom. Me? I’m wishing, hoping, starting a letter writing campaign, putting good thoughts into the universe for a ZARA.

Growing up in Miami, I was spoiled with the aforementioned store as well as a very convenient ZARA. Now when I’m traveling to any city with one in a 50 mile radius, I make it a priority to stop in. Thankfully, we can now shop online but there are some store where you find better goodies in person than hunting online and it’s one of them. Anyways, enough about my love affair with a store.

Last week I got the email with the fall lookbooks and I was in love. I’ve kept the email highlighted in my inbox debating whether to do a post and share my obsession. Welp, here it is. Oh and yes, it includes adorably stylish youngsters.

Love all the bold silhouettes in basic black contrast that inspiration with the layering, soft colors and classic knits in the kids collection. My favorites are the lace top/peplum leather skirt combo and the chunky knit sweater over black skinny jeans. (Yes, I am taking style inspiration from youngsters and I’m not the least bit embarrassed by it.)

All images from ZARA. See the full look books here.

OMG I am in love with that first dress. And Zara in general. I wish we had one too but at least we get free shipping & no tax 🙂

      I know! Isn’t it amazing!?!
Yes, free shipping & no tax doesn’t hurt but sometimes their website is a little stark for my shopping pleasure.

This Zara lookbook makes me salivate! We don’t have one in Denver either, but I’m going to Miami in a few weeks and my first stop (besides Chicken Kitchen) is always Zara at Dadeland. I cannot wait! Zara = life.

I would LOVE a ZARA in Louisville or Cincinnati. Heck, I would settle for Indy too!
