Kentucky Derby Style: Pretty in Pastels

Apr 9, 2015

When it comes to Kentucky Derby looks, this one is right up my alley. I love the light weight, bright dress (and the fact that it has straps) finished off with a minty fascinator. I’d snatch up this entire look for a day outdoors at the track. This would actually be perfect for gals heading to the Paddock area or with walk-around tickets. A dress that stands out in a shape that won’t have you messing with straps or adjusting all day. And by that, I mean perfect to run around and have fun in all day. Pair it with wedges like Shannon did and you’ll be good for a long day at Churchill Downs.

Local gals, if you’re looking to get a custom piece made this weekend you can stop by The Mill, Kenzie Kapp’s studio downtown (or give her a shout) or you can meet up with Britni from Headcandi today at Dress & Dwell, tomorrow at Bella Rose in Lexington or Saturday at Clodhoppers in St. Matthews!
