Happy New Year Friends!
Coming in hot with some sale info since it’s a good one. The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale starts today and goes through tomorrow – so if you’re a Lilly lady, it’s your time to shine. I never thought I’d be in that category but in the last few months I’ve totally changed my opinion of the brand. Up until then, I thought it was all prissy shift dresses but there really is so much more. You may remember this sweater, I get so many compliments on it and so many surprised faces when I tell them it’s Lilly. So yeah, it’s more than just super bright prints. Promise.
Case in point, this outfit. I LOVE this dress but since there wasn’t a beach day in my foreseeable future, I had to figure out how to wear it. And if I was going to wear it here, I knew I needed to toughen it up a little since going full prep in the winter isn’t usually my style. So I did what I do with just about everything bright – I paired it with all black everything (and my fave boots that are on sale). This dress is silk and has an elastic waistband so I just tucked the skirt up under it. It’s thin enough to avoid being bulky. And voila. Lilly in the winter.
So yeah, go on and shop the sale. I’m betting you’ll find something seriously marked down that you’ll fall in love with. Oh and their little girl’s stuff is the cutest so if nothing else grab something for the little lady in your life.
