Mood Boards: Big East Bound

Mar 5, 2012

Sorry for the late post this Monday. It’s been a hectic day of meetings and final to-do’s before taking off for five (yes, F.I.V.E whole days – I’m a little anxious about it) days in New York for the Big East Tournament. “But wait, aren’t you a Kentucky fan and shouldn’t you be headed south to New Orleans?” you’re probably asking. Yes, I am a HUGE UK fan and yes, I would LOVE to be heading to the Big Easy but this year I decided to make good on a promise I made a while back with Drew.

My other half is a huge U of L fan (don’t hold it against him) and we’ve talked about going to the Big East tournament since I first dragged him to Atlanta to the SEC Tournament/Tornado Debacle in 2008. So this year for his 30th birthday I’m packing up the red & black in my closet and we’re heading up north to for a week of basketball action in Madison Square Garden. Who knows how many games we’ll get to see but we’re planning on spending the rest of our trip being tourists (it’s Drew’s first trip to New York), catching up with old friends and eating at as many delicious restaurants as possible. Hopefully, I’ll sneak in some New York posts too.

To help inspire me to put away my UK blue and drag out the red, I put together this board inspired by the pic below.

Enjoy!

  2. I do not even know the way I ended up here, however I thought this put up was once good. I do not know who you might be but certainly you’re going to a famous blogger for those who are not already. Cheers!
