Outfit Post: Black and White

Feb 25, 2015

So first off, I’m still not over Kaitlyn being kicked off The Bachelor. I’m also still woefully behind at getting my life back in order post vacation. Anyone else hate unpacking with the fire of a thousand infernos?

One thing I am over is getting dressed for snow. Love my duck boots but ready to pack those puppies up. And I know, if you’re in Boston right now reading this (unlikely but hey) you’re probably wanting to punch me in the face because I know nothing of snow.

Moving on, I wore this before Arctic tundra-like weather set in. You know, a time when you could wear heels and not worry about slipping, falling, breaking an ankle and looking like an idiot. Speaking of heels, I was on the hunt for a new black pair and scored these. Love how they spice up this, otherwise, basic look (although these leather pants were a great sale score). I’m looking forward to pairing them with skirts and dresses once we’re able to show bare skin again. Until then, bundle up or better yet, get out of dodge and book an impromptu vacation. I’d do it if I didn’t have to unpack.

Black Blazer: Marc by Marc Jacobs (old); White T-Shirt: Forever 21; Faux Leather Pants: Banana Republic (linked to exact pair but they are almost sold out. these options – 1 and 2 – are both really similar); Heels: c/o Sole Society

Love those shoes! I can’t wait until we can finally show some skin here in Chicago too. Oh, and unpacking is the absolute WORST which is why my suitcase from last weekend is still in my living room 😉

  2. I finally made it out and about yesterday, and even in boots I was slipping and sliding. SO ready for all this snow to melt!

UGH, I’m beyond “over” the winter!! I’m getting so sick and tired of my heavy sweaters and dark clothing. I just want to wear sandals already!

I love your outfit. Your shoes are stunners!
