Monday Monday, always sneaking up on me like that. What’s a girl gotta do to pop an extra day in between Saturday and Sunday. I’d get so much more stuff done and so much more lazy (read: TV) time in.

But enough dwelling, I’m going to try my very best to hit the ground running while getting back to my New Year’s resolution of knocking a major to-do list item off the list, at home and at work, every day. Wish me luck.

Today’s look is definitely one of those ones that is a little outside my normal wheelhouse but after seeing Jen’s instagram and knowing that I had all the building blocks in my closet, I decided to give it a go. I loved the green in her plaid button down but this one has been a favorite of late (and is so soft), that I decided to go with it. 

This dress is still bump friendly (for now), so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some warmer weather so I can ditch the tights. I’ll probably pack it for the impromptu Disney trip I’m taking with the little man in a couple weeks but instead of plaid, I’ll throw a trusty chambray over it.

Not sure how I feel about the way these tights photographed – they looked way more opaque and less sheer secretary in person. My b.
