Yesterday’s post focused on my obsession with dressing all in black and today’s shares my love of all things navy. Clearly I gravitate to a darker color palette.

But there’s just something about navy that sings to me. It was all over the place in our wedding, it’s a main player in my home decor and it can’t be avoided in my closet. It’s just as versatile as black but comes off just a little less severe (and plays well with others).

This outfit is a work staple although with the crazy cold temperatures, I’m sure to have a big coat and scarf wrapped around me. This blazer may be my best Forever 21 find (and that’s saying something)  – just love it so much. Another thing I love so much is having a few days off at the holidays and we’re in the home stretch before a little break. I’m really looking forward to having a few days to recharge. It seems like the last few months have been packed with one event after the other (so many of them were extremely fun so I’m not complaining) so I could seriously use a little break. I can see days of wrapping presents and being lazy on the couch (and of course getting in some quality family time) in my future and the future looks bright.
