And we’re back… Hope everyone had lots of turkey, good times with good people and a shopping bag full of great post-holiday deals.

I was lucky enough to spend the weekend chasing my little man around, catching up with one of my best friends in town from NYC and losing a little money at the races with friends. And just like that, it was back to work.

What better way to combat the Monday holiday hangover than with a little pink and a touch of polka dot. My polka dot obsession has been well documented (here, here, here and my favorite here) and when I found these pants at Gap, I had to have them. I just wish I had ordered a tall – I’m at that in between height  (5’8″ in case you’re wondering for sizing) where I’m never quite sure which to go with. Despite my pant length problems, I love these (I can imagine wearing them every season) and will just keep with flats from now on.
