Shopping: A Colorful Christmas * Gifts for the Color Lover

Dec 3, 2014

I told you all that I wasn’t going to be doing a myriad of gift guides and then I lied. Okay not a big fat lie but more of a little white lie. I won’t be doing a boat load  but I have been inspired to do a couple more. So today you’re getting a colorful one and I may or may not be working on a stocking stuffer one.

I’ve been stuck in a black and white color palette lately so this guide is kind of a jump start to get a little brighter as the holidays approach. I’ve tried to round up some options that work for guys and gals both young and young-at-heart.

These headphones (2) are perfect for the guys in your life – like your brother-in-law, little brother or nephew – I may even get a pair for my son – cause that theme to Bubble Guppies is permanently stuck in my head (sorry that’s such an old lady comment to make). They also come in red, pink, purple, black and a handful more fun colors. I’m also digging these cuff-links (7) for the fellas. These vintage K one’s look just like the old Kentucky logo – so there’s that. But you can also do them in about a hundred different monogram combos.

How awesome is this turntable (11)? The light blue color may be a little girly for the guys but rest assured it comes in a more manly black, navy and brown. But then again, it also comes in pink.

You can’t go wrong with a Kluster shop gift for your mom, co-worker, aunt, or sister. These bracelets (1) get you a lot of bang for your buck (and you can save 20% off through Dec. 7 with code YAYHOLIDAY – so get them two!) and are so fun stacked together. Beauty obsessed babes will dig this nail polish set (4this one is pretty awesome too and both ship free with code GIFTSHIP) but you can go a little more subtle with Kate Spade’s colorfully named new scent (also on sale for 25% off with code WHATFUN).

Want to splurge on someone you love (you probably owe your Mom for all those gifts, rides, phone calls, dinners, cakes, etc)? Go big and get them a KitchenAid mixer (10 – p.s. – just saw that this is actually $279 PLUS you can save $50 with a rebate) – ooooooeeeee they will be excited. I’m partial to this navy blue one but obviously they come in all the colors of the rainbow.

Oh and I meant to include this Fugimax camera (such a good gift for kids) but it magically disappeared from my collage (and by disappeared I mean I accidentally deleted it). The film can be a little pricey so I wouldn’t recommend it for kids under 5 (my son burns through the film) but it’s a great way to learn to take pictures for the kiddos (you’ll probably love it too).
