Shopping: Fab Flats

Jan 8, 2014

High heels are a personal weakness for me but that doesn’t mean I don’t love a good pair of flats. They’re especially important this time of year when the chance of slipping and biting are at an all time high (and woah is it embarrassing).

Just because they’re practical doesn’t mean they can’t be insanely cute and so in an ode to the flat, here are a few favorites camping out in my online shopping carts.

Also, when it comes to flats I am kind of torn when it comes to cost. If the shoes is trendy, I’m usually inclined to do a less expensive version but if it’s a basic ballet flat or one in a color/print you’re sure to love for years to come (for example, a great leopard print), go ahead and splurge. They will be more comfortable, hold up longer and look nicer for the long haul. So to go with that half & half vibe, I’ve got favorites with price points than range from guilt free at Forever 21 to love it/have to have it from Sole Society, ZARA and Piperlime to save and splurge from Tory Burch and Alice & Olivia. Now which one(s) to choose?

I am a heel lover, but I also love flats (I consider myself an equal opportunity shoe lover 🙂 ) Those d’orsay flats with the hearts are about the cutest things ever! And I have multiple pairs of the TB Revas and I love them. I’m (embarrassingly) on my 3rd pair of gold ones because I wear them so much. But they are the best!

  3. I’m kind of torn between quality and price for flats too! Most times I’ve just gone with a cheaper price because I feel like I can wear them out more and I don’t get worried if something happens to them. My favorite steal was a pair of nude flats from Forever 21 that I literally wear all the time (and they were $10!). All of those pairs are so cute!!

you can’t beat Forever21 sometimes. their shoes usually don’t work for me but i have WAY too many target pairs in my closet for the exact same reasoning.
