Shopping: The Rundown on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Jul 9, 2019

So in case this is the only blog you read (I’m guessing that’s not the case. If so, gee thanks!), you’re probably WELL aware of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Mostly because people are going bananas over it. Personally, it kind of annoys me that everyone and their mother’s brother’s cousin is talking about it like it’s the second coming but I guess it is a good sale. Basically you can get new fall stuff at sale prices – think boots, coats, random clothes, jewelry, purses, sunglasses and denim. Stuff that rarely goes on sale is marked down. It’s good stuff.

I’ll fill you in on something not many people will tell you though – everyone is doing this big song and dance for the sale since we all make money off the affiliate links. So when you click on one of my links and end up buying something, I make a little money. There are lots of girls that make bank like this. Props to them. It’s not my bread and butter plus it can sometimes feels really disingenuous hawking this sale day and night but we all got bills to pay, so respect.

Since I figure you all know how online shopping works, I’ll be rounding up  up a handful of things I like from the sale and will share them all on Friday. It’s probably just going to be my favorites in a few categories. Some girls will be going wild over this (and I respect the hell out of the hustle) but I just don’t have time to drive to Cincinnati to try it all on for you guys. I’m sure you understand!  So if you end up liking anything come Friday, click away (the boots are usually my favorite deal really cute and the beauty sale items are pretty on point). If you want to do me a proper and throw a little bit of affiliate cash my way, I will be ever so grateful (all these kids are expensive you guys).

One thing I will promise you though is that I will not be posting about this sale every day until it ends in August. I’ll do my best to update this NSale shopping section throughout the sale with new stuff, so you can peruse over there when the urge to online shop strikes.

Oh and last thing before I let the sale do the talking, beginning on Friday it’s only open to Nordstrom card members. Just so you know, it’s not a credit card. It’s like a debit card that’s attached to your checking account (like the Target Red Card). Using it gives you rewards plus early access to the sales. You can sign up for one and get your shop on then or you can wait until July 19th when it opens to the public.

I found you on IG. I live in Louisville also. Thank you for being transparent with affiliate links. Perhaps if we had a Nordstrom in town, I would be more enthusiastic about this sale but the thought of driving all the way to Cincy to try on stuff makes me tired just thinking about it. I enjoy your feed- especially the Britney posts! Lol.

so happy you stumbled upon the site! And I appreciate your note. I always try to be as transparent as possible about this whole blogging thing.
And yes, I totally get it. I wish we had a store locally. Then I might be more inclined to go in and try things.

Most importantly, more britney coming your way!
