How much do you love a great white dress?

A lot, right?

The problem is there aren’t many places you can wear them in the summer months, at least for me, because most of the outdoor occasions that would warrant one are weddings. And we all know you don’t wear white to weddings (or rehearsal dinners for that matter).

So when I spotted Julie in this simple white lace number at a seriously lovely baby shower she hosted, I had to get her to pose for some pictures. And while I might add a bright, bold necklace – I dig how she kept it simple adding delicate, silver jewelry (side note: how gorgeous is that sapphire ring?) and a tiny pop of color with pink earrings (that of course, matched her nail polish). The whole thing just personifies southern summer for me.

Oh and if you’re in town and just NEED to have this dress, Julie found it at Colonial Designs which is one of the stores participating in the big summer sidewalk sale this week. Might be marked way down!
