Yesterday I told you all how much I love a routine and today, I can say that I am thriving being back in the office. Our babysitter started last week and even if it’s just a couple days a week, it’s MAGIC to have some time to myself again. Our office only has three people in it at any one time, so we’re able to go back safely. We’ve always been socially distanced, so we’re all good and we’re all loving just sitting at our computers in silence. It really is the little things in life.

Being back at my desk makes it WAY easier to get it together on the blog too. So here I am, posting two days in row. Who I am?

Had to get this dress up though while it’s still available. It’s been YEARS since I’ve bought anything from a Target designer partnership but this most recent launch was one I was excited about. Admittedly, I thought I would want more from the Love Shack Fancy collection but turns out, the Lisa Marie Fernandez pieces are the ones I loved the most. Case in Point: this ric-rac dress.

Since you can’t try things on in store, I bought it in this pink + yellow combo and the black + white version, thinking I would pick the more basic black and white one. Turns out though, the color on this one won me over. It’s so bright and happy for summer. The quality on this one is amazing too (hate to say it but the quality on this collection seems WAY nicer than the Love Shack Fancy one). The cotton is really thick and high-quality, the ric-rac is sewed on well (no worry about it coming loose in the wash) and it has a liner, which feels unheard of in a Target dress.

I wore the dress with a woven belt I snatched off this swimsuit but it does come with a white sash to tie it. I’ve worn it both belted and unbelted and it’s cute both ways. On sizing: I would size down. This is a small and I still have plenty of room in it. It’s made to be a looser fit and if you want to belt it, you’ll want the smaller size.

All the other dresses in the collection are so fun, especially love this sweet pink gingham one. This rac-rac one also comes in a sundress version that is perfect for girls worried about being overwhelmed in all the fabric.

At this point, I have no where to wear this except my backyard but I’m anxious awaiting the invite to a summer party (of 20 or less) to break it out.
