Required Reading: NYFW FOMO & Valentine’s Love

Feb 10, 2013

This week has been a doozy so I’m happy to be spending some time just hanging out this weekend. It’s nice to just be low key.

I was seriously bummed that I didn’t make it to New York for Fashion Week but it turns out it wasn’t where I was supposed to be right now. Instead I’ve been having a lot of fun following along with some of my favorite bloggers.

To get over some of my FOMO (fear of missing out), here’s a little of what I’ve been reading to keep up with the action.

* Loved seeing Kiley’s (a sequin dress at breakfast) pictures from the Nicole Miller showroom.

* Look out NYC – my pal Alex from Lex What Wear has been enjoying her first fashion week!

* For more up to the minute coverage, I’ve been following along with damsel in dior, b soup, bows & sequins, sidesmile style, ps i made this and more on instagram (p.s. – did you know you can see your instagram feed online now?)

And to get into the Valentine’s Day mood, here’s some of my favorite looks for loving.

* Red lace can’t be cute you say? I dare you to check out Jessica (bows & sequins) styling it two ways both the perfect mix of sweet and sassy.

* Can I have this dress please? (Cheetah is the New Black)

* Will someone make me a floral friendship bracelet. (Oh Joy!)

* Lay one on me with this casual, perfect for Valentine’s look from corals + cognacs.

* It appears that I’m obsessed with lipstick prints. (ps… i made this)

I’ve got some girly love up my sleeve this week (that I’ve been dying to share!) for Valentine’s Day so make sure to stop by!
