Style Spotting: Going For Gold

I LOVE the Olympics. Part of it could be the chance to see the sports I competed in during high school (track & swimming) aired on television with the bonus that people actually WANT to watch them. But beyond that I get super obsessed with whatever they throw in prime time from gymnastics to soccer to diving… if it’s on, I’ll watch it.

Yesterday everyone was abuzz over the first look at Ralph Lauren’s designs for Team USA’s Olympic Opening Ceremony outfits. I definitely like the clean look and the guys definitely look sharp. I just wish the ladies outfits were a little more modern. Either way, any day that Ryan Lochte crowds up my twitter timeline is a good day in my eyes.

I thought if I was going to share team USA’s fits, it might also be fun to see what some of our competitors will be wearing. So here’s a look at what you can expect to see on July 27th!

Not gonna lie, I dig Jamaica’s unis. So far they are my favorite (of what I’ve seen). What are your must-see Olympic sports or more importantly, athletes?

Definitely gymnastics! In particular, I’m excited to see what McKayla Maroney will be wearing. She has beautiful style.
