Okay this is going to be a quick one but when you stumble on a product this good, you just gotta share it…. and quick.
I’m sure it’s no surprise to hear that eyebrows are so hot right now. They’ve been having a bit of a renaissance – I blame Cara Delvingne and Emily Ratajkowski. I am a bit obsessed with trying to get my brows in shape. I’ve packed away the tweezers (save for a totally random stray) and now make it a priority to get them looking right before leaving the house. I haven’t mastered it yet but tending to the brows is now just as important as putting on mascara in my daily make-up routine.
I’ve tried a bunch of different products in the last year or so but when I stumbled upon Glossier’s Boy Brown – I knew I needed to try it out. But then, like a giant buzz kill, it was on wait list. When I got the email that it was back in stock, it felt like finding a Golden Ticket. You know I snagged it right quick and waited patiently for its arrival. Yeah, I was pumped. I had read good things.
Sometimes you’re excited to try something out only to be disappointed with the results. This was not the case with Boy Brow. The color is just the right brown – dark enough to fill but not so dark where it looks weird or like you dragged a permanent marker across your brow line. The consistency is also on point. It’s a gel feeling but doesn’t dry stiff or sticky (like other products tend to do).
I’m not quite at Cara status yet but this gives that natural, full brow that I feel like we’re all hunting for right now. For a night out, I’m sure I’ll double up with a little bit of eye shadow to give a more defined look but for every day wear this stuff is golden. And at $16, it doesn’t break the bank.
You gotta try it. Seriously, if you don’t like it – call me and I’ll buy it from you. No really, I will.
After loving this so much, I’m looking forward to trying more from Glossier. Any one have any recommendations?
p.s. – This post was not sponsored (totally wish it was), i’m just that hype on this product.
I’ve been meaning to trying out Glossier products after I’ve been reading about them everywhere – sounds like I need to!
[…] lot of products; some I get sent to try out and some I just can’t help but give a go of (this Glossier Boy Brow, for example). So I thought I’d start a new semi-regular series where I’ll review five […]
