You guys, I have a Black Friday/Cyber Monday hangover. All the emails and sales and commercials – it was too much.
I didn’t even really buy much. A handful of presents is it. Party because I am trying to be better about buying less but more thoughtful gifts (and frankly, I didn’t have a lot of time to think things out thoughtfully with all those kids running around) and partly because it was just too much. I’m planning on combing through the 50 Under $50 Gift Guide again this weekend and pick out a few gifts so I can knock out the majority of my shopping.
But more importantly, this dress. It is holiday party dress perfection (in my book). First off, it fits great (but I would order one size up since River Island sizing runs a little small). It shows a little where you want it and covers up and hides my troublesome area (stomach/hips – you know the deal). Second, it’s under $100! Yup. It seems like it would be way more especially since the quality is great but nope, still under $100 bucks. Third, it will work way beyond the holidays. A good little black dress can work every season and this one fits that bill. Love it. I paired it with some old bright blue favorites but think these heels would be great with it for a holiday party. Throw on tights if it’s really cold or just do a cozy jacket over it and you’re good to go. Plus you can add little twists to it so you can wear it to multiple events without getting tired of it. Can you tell I love it?
Alright, gotta run – work calls but I’ll be popping in over the weekend with more gift guides, so stop back in.
Love the dress. Especially paired with the unexpected blue. Great choice! But can we talk about what bra to wear with it???? Because this gal is not letting the girls run free.
Hey Megan!
Haha great question! I wore a regular bra in nude and you couldn’t see it at all! I’m with you, the girls are not allowed to run free!
