Oh hey! Sorry for the lack of posts this week. With work and the impending anxiety and doom of traveling with three kids this Sunday, I’ve been falling behind over here. Yeah, say a prayer for us because this weekend we are braving the skies with all three of our little monsters in tow. Here’s hoping we’re not stuck buying drinks for the entire plane thanks to Reese. I’m at that place where if you don’t think about it, maybe it won’t happen but I realize I am going to need to start preparing now. But yes, we realize we are certifiable.

The only reason I am braving this flying adventure is because we are heading to seriously, the most relaxing place ever. My family has a house in Vermont and we are escaping the madness of life here for a week away from it all. Just lots of maple-covered food, leaves and a much slower pace. Cannot wait.

Until then, I’ll be running around like a mad woman trying to get it all together. And more than likely, I’ll be wearing these sneakers and some variation of this outfit. So freaking comfortable. Back to the shoes, though. When I spotted them on Madewell’s site, I looooved them but realized they may be a little more than I can pull off. Then I spotted them in store and knew I had to, at least, give them a try. I am obsessed. I get tons of comments (the good kind thankfully) on them and they are super comfortable. I love them with this kind of outfit. Jeans, a great basic tee and a cardigan or my field jacket. Done and done for running errands. Oh and if you’re not sure you can make the sneakers work, check out this kids version. Your kiddo can definitely rock them.

Speaking of errands, I gotta go run some.
