Happy Derby Week!

This week you can be sure every post will have a hat (although there will be a few extra without) and since we’re in the home stretch, I’ll do my best to keep you posted on any last minute sales, events and happenings.

This morning, I’m heading over to the Kentucky Derby Museum bright and early to talk fashion with The Kentucky Gent with some radio stations statewide. The way things are looking for me these days, I’m especially glad it’s the radio and not TV. This lady is not prepared for any close ups until after the babe makes its appearance. That being said, I’ll try and post some pictures of the fun on instagram. Update: I ended up not being able to make it this morning because of a little illness mishap at our house. Totally bummed that I didn’t get there! 

Today’s look just screams southern belle at Derby to me and I love it. While the traditional look isn’t always my style, it doesn’t mean I still don’t love it and this look is sweet, southern, simple and so chic. The floral print on this Leona number isn’t overpowering (especially on the adorably petite Ann) and I love how these Lulubelles earrings complement the dress perfectly.
