Preppy gals – today is your day. I know I’ve steered away from more traditional, preppy dresses but today I’m going all out.

This lively plaid number from J.Crew is perfectly southern, simple and sweet. I’d love to see it paired with a hat full of florals. Can’t you imagine a wide-brimmed hat with bunches of pale pink flowers piled on top? Otherwise, I’d pair it with simple accessories. Gold wedges, a straw clutch and a simple collar necklace add the finishing touches.
