Coming in a little late today because frankly, I’m still super bummed about last night’s game. That being said, still was in shock that we made it that far and it definitely turned around the season. Congrats to UCONN but as always, Go Cats!
Moving on. Even though Derby is synonymous with hats, it doesn’t mean you should wear one everywhere you go over the {extended} weekend. The always adorable and totally put together Kristen knew this when she pulled the ‘Oaks Night Party’ card at our Derby shoot. While many gals may have gone towards a black dress, Kristen went neon pink and I love it. You could easily transition this dress from a day at the track to a night out. Just kick it up a notch with fancier shoes and accessories.
This bright pink number is from Dress & Dwell, which has a ton (I’ve seen – and swooned over – the backroom full of options) of dress for every possible Derby weekend scenario. One of my favorite things about the New Albany boutique is the range of price points and the quality of the dresses – you’ll definitely find something if you make the trip over there (I always do, much to the chargrin of my bank account). They’ve also got a ton of great accessories – including these sweet Lulubelles earrings.
Anyways, I’ll wrap this up so you can swoon over this pretty in pink party dress on Kristen. And that hair, Kristen – teach me your ways.
