I’ll argue that having a great little white dress in your closet is almost as important as a little black dress. Perfect for summer parties (as long as they’re not wedding-related) and easy to translate from season to season (I love breaking them out in winter with the right pair of tights and a blazer) – you won’t regret having a great one to fall back on.
This TIBI geometric lace beauty fits the bill and is simple with an edge. The cut-outs are placed in a generally flattering spot and the length hits at a spot that shows off your legs without worrying about flashing anything else. I love this dress for just about anywhere in the track but I’d avoid wearing all white if you’re hitting up the Paddock. There’s just way too many opportunities to get spilled on (imagine the sadness that would come from spilling a bright pink/red lily on this beauty). So definitely save LWD’s for areas where things will be slightly less crowded – like the Skye Terrace where you’ll be set up with a table and more room to move about.
In honor of the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, I’ve paired it with a trio of green heels. You’ll notice though that none of them are giving you more than 2.5 or 3 inches of additional height. Keeping your heel low will make it way easier to keep them on all day comfortably.
