Before I get into the fun & exciting part of this post, I quick apology is due. This week has been a blogging perfect storm – I took a last minute trip to New Orleans on Monday for the NCAA Championship which obviously delayed my early week posts and then yesterday, the blog was down because of a server issue. We’re back up and running now (albeit a bit slow – they say it should be fixed soon). So in the hopes of winning back your favor, I’ve got an awesome event to tell you about.

FOUR LA reached out to me last week about a invite only Pop-Up Shop they are hosting right here in the Derby City next weekend. The good news – you’re invited.  FOUR LA is an independent fashion boutique on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, CA that has decided to set up shop here in honor of Derby. The boutique is full of women’s & men’s fashion from brands like Mark & James by Badgley Mischka, French Connection, PlasticIsland, Pavonine, Alternative Apparel and a bunch more. But back to them coming in town. The Pop-Up Shop will be at the Mercantile Gallery Lofts (309 E. Market Street) on Saturday April 14 from 2 – 6 pm. They will have special markdowns, giveaways and drinks – what more could you want? Like I mentioned before, this is a private shopping event so you’ll have to RSVP to get in. This will be a great opportunity to snag a great Derby night out look or a fun Oaks dress that you won’t see on 6 other girls. They sent a bunch of pics of other events and after checking them out plus looking at their stuff online, I am getting very excited to see what they’re bringing.
