You’ve probably heard me mention this but I had a baby. So there’s that.
No but really, I was planning on waiting until my gal Whitney took pictures of the little lady before sharing on the blog but since weather woes have delayed her first photo shoot, I thought I’d go ahead and introduce her. Don’t worry, this blog won’t be treading into mommy blog territory any time soon (I’m definitely not the person to ask for advice) but I figured since you stuck with me through nine months, you might as well get to see the little bundle.
Reese Rudy made her scheduled appearance on May 22. I will say that scheduling having a baby is a weird experience since you just show up, like a regular appointment and say, “I’m here to have a baby.” Just a short while later we met our newest addition who was a little peanut, weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 ozs.
She’s the perfect addition to our motley crew and after three weeks, we’re getting into a routine (read: getting a little bit more sleep). Without further ado, here she is with a little sneak peak of the room (still waiting on a couple deliveries and hanging a couple things up before sharing more).

Hello,
I love the idea of converting a dresser to changing table. Where did you get the white tray that holds the changing pad?
Hi Aimee –
Yeah it’s super practical. The changing try is from Pottery Barn Baby. I bought it in store I think, it’s hard to find it separate on the site.
