So yesterday was a mess. Definitely the definition of a Monday. Scrambling to get out the door on time, my schedule totally being thrown off with my mom being in town and my little man going to camp, then scooting out to take my new pup to the vet (he has bronchitis). Add to that my son dropping my {brand new} phone in the toilet and you’ve got the makings of a mess of a Monday. Nothing tragic or horrible just lots of mild chaos.

Hopefully you all won’t think the same thing can be said about this outfit. You probably remember these shorts from this more casual look. Here I’m dressing them up a little. My philosophy – add a blazer and anything’s a little more dressed up. How do you all feel about the dressed up shorts look? It was definitely something that took me a little bit to warm up to but now, I’m all about it.

One thing I’m not all about, just yet, is this season of The Bachelorette. Can’t quite seem to get behind it but that hasn’t stopped the recaps. Stop by Secondary Embarrassment later today for my recap!
