I love a good girl’s night out but when Sauza Tequila asked me to put together a girl’s party post I couldn’t help but turn my focus from night to day. With today being the official start of Summer (woo woo) and the longest day of the year, I’m dreaming of a pool day with some of my favorite friends.

But no party is complete without a cocktail. Not going to lie, I spend almost every summer Saturday poolside and I had mastered a sparkling margarita with a handful of ingredients. When I first heard about it, I was worried that it might be too sweet or not have the right mix of tequila and tart but after busting it out at a girl’s night this week (sadly, not spent poolside), I was ready to pack it up in my pool bag (is that bad?). I tried out the original lime flavor (there’s also a berry and mago peach flavor for you fruity drink lovers) and loved that it tastes like a traditional margarita with fizz. I’ll be serving it in a giant glass of ice next time I’m lounging by the pool (or when I’m catching up on my DVR on my couch – either way).
