I am not going to pretend like I have any idea what Princess Kate Middleton would wear anywhere but I feel like today’s look is definitely royal event worthy.
Some people may not be in to the matching look but I couldn’t help but stick to the blue/black color palette when I saw this Heacandi fascinator next to this Clover Canyon dress from Circe. It was just too perfect. The colors all looks so pretty on Courtney – it was a little too good to be true for me. Doesn’t she look just perfect for Millionaire’s Row, the Mansion or the Jockey Club Suites? This look needs to go somewhere fancy. Not going to the races?
Despite having a lot of white in it, I think this dress is still great for weddings. Get really royal with it and wear the fascinator too. Just tell the bride you think of her as princess so dressing for a royal wedding was a necessity.
p.s. – I was talking to some friends last night who were asking about the hats. If you see something you love, definitely reach out to the designer (today’s is Britni at Headcandi). They can all do custom pieces to match your dress or put a twist on something you see here. You can even just ask them for the exact one. Love this style but need it to match a {insert color here} dress? Just give them a shout and let them know what you’re looking for. You’ll have something custom and fabulous for the races.
