This floral wall was just begging for a great pink look to go in front of it.
We’ve talked before about the Pink Out at the Kentucky Oaks and Shannon (owner of Primp Style Lounge – bookmark it for Derby prep) in this pink combo nails the look. I know we focus a lot on dresses for the races but I love a pretty set just as much – sometimes even more, since you’ll get more wear out of the pieces. The crew at Circe, where you can find this number, has enough dresses to give you a million and one options but I love styling up their separates (stay tuned for more) to give you a look that is totally unique and stand out.
This classy (and a little sassy) Camilla and Marc pairing is ideal for an indoor area of the track – like the Jockey Club Suites or the Turf Club. We topped it off with this all pink Kenzie Kapp fascinator. Sometimes this color can come off looking a little Barbie-ish but paired with the clean white detailed blouse and the more modern skirt, it’s chic with a bit of whimsy.
I can’t wait to show you more of Kenzie’s pieces. We’ve only met once but her energy is infectious and is definitely captured in her pieces. Fun, bright, bold and unique. Stay tuned for more from another crazy talented local lady.
