Okay so I’ve got a ton of catching up to do over here but I’m going to save that for its own post rather than bring down this fun little black romper.
Here’s the thing with rompers and their kin, the jumpsuit, they normally are a massive fail for me. I have an oddly long torso which means a romper is a one-way ticket to camel toe city (not somewhere I ever want to go and I am a little horrified at myself for writing that, but it’s the truth and you’d have been thinking it if I didn’t just say it). So when I do find one that works, I want to scream it from the rooftops. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to share this find with you until now (I scooped it during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sales) but my inability to prioritize is your gain since it’s now on sale for under $40! {insert me screaming from the rooftops}
I’ve worn this to a wedding rehearsal dinner, an outdoor summer party and out to dinner with friends.It will be perfect to transition to fall by adding tights and/or over-the-knee boots. I’m pretty sure I’ll be sporting it next week to the Louisville Film Festival Opening Night (grab tickets here) where I’m going to try and meet Phil Keoghan – host of the Amazing Race – and explain to him why I MUST be on the show next season. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes.

As a side note, I am obsessed with the brand Leith at Nordstrom (#NOTSponsored). Their t-shirts are my favorite but obviously this romper was a win and I bought this cardigan it’s now in heavy rotation. I’ve loved everything I’ve bought from the brand and regularly search for new stuff from them on Nordstrom. This jumpsuit below may be calling my name for fall. Think I can pull it off?
