Just one week until one of my favorite holidays of the year. Fourth of July is the epitome of summer and really, who doesn’t love celebrating America (okay, maybe non-Americans but we’ll leave that part out)? I can remember counting down the days to the giant pool party/field day they held at my grandparents country club. I’m still a little miffed I never won the water balloon toss.

So to get you in the mood for the 4th, here’s some laid back options to keep you comfy, stylish and most importantly, patriotic. And it’s just a bonus that you should stay cool since it’s supposed to be ridiculously hot here in Louisville and throughout the country.
