Lately I’ve been in a bit of a purge mode. Just trying to channel my inner Marie Kondo and get rid of everything that “doesn’t bring me joy.” Okay, I know that part may sound a little crazy but you should read up on her organizing tips – as odd as it seems, it totally works.
I’ve always been a big fan of re-wearing things and I try to showcase that hear on the blog – it’s not just all new things all the time. And when I do add something new, I want it to be something I think I can get a lot of use out of. No more one-and-done’s for me (unless they are playing for Cats and then I’m all about it). So when I scooped this blossom and bloom dress from The Mint Julep boutique – I knew I’d be able to rework it a few times. It’s a little on the short side for me – so while I’ve worn it over a bathing suit for the pool – I tied it up and paired it with this stripe skirt for a surprise party we went to last weekend. I’m thinking for fall, I may layer a thin knit sweater over it (so that the floral tail is hanging out) and pair it with dark denim and booties. Or again as a top under a blazer and paired with skinny pants for work. So many options, means lots of joy, means it gets to stay in the closet.
Seriously though, I have gotten rid of a ton of stuff and keep unloading more so if you want to check out any of it (or if you wear a size 10 shoe – I’ve got lots that need to go), check out my Poshmark site and feel free to make an offer (it’s all gotsta go!).

Thanks Kate! It’s an oldie but goodie!
Florals + stripes are always one of my favorite combos!
