Outfit Post: Blue and White * Lou What Wear

The drive to Charleston is long. Really, really long. Doing it two times in the span of a month is not something I highly recommend.

Not to sound like a shitty, high maintenance brat though – I DO highly recommend going to Charleston though and I’m certainly not complaining about a weekend away. Just the 10 hours in the car (a lot of which was spent listening to talk radio which should be a torture interrogation technique).

We FINALLY made it to the beach early last night just in time to meet up with a bunch of friends following the rehearsal dinner. Just to recap, we’re here for the wedding of one of Drew’s buds from college. The wedding is outside tonight and will, no doubt, be all kinds of gorgeous (follow on snapchat – @louwhatwear – and i’m sure i’ll be posting nonsensical pictures). We’re staying at a resort – Wild Dunes – which is b.ea.utiful. It was dusk as we drove through yesterday so I’m looking forward to doing some more exploring today.

It is crazy hot here though so I packed lots of breezy basics like this tank that I bought on my last trip to Charleston. First off, it’s super comfortable and second, it’s easy to dress up or down. I’ve worn this with a white lace skirt and thrown it over my bathing suit as a cover-up. My preferred way to wear it though is with white jeans and sandals – flats for shopping or running errands, heels or wedges for dinner or a night out.
