Oh hey there. It’s been a little while since I’ve done an outfit post so get ready to see the bump in full effect. So far, I’ve been able to make due with what I already had in my closet along with a few key additions – these stretch pants have been a god send. Mostly grabbing some blouse-y tops one size up when I spot one on sale. That way, I feel like I can make good use of them post-baby or at least sell them on Poshmark if I can’t stand looking at them anymore (that happens after wearing the same rotation for weeks on end).
This sweatshirt tunic was one of my early additions that was kind of neglected only to be rediscovered after moving. I’ve been living in sweats lately since the majority of my down time has been spent unpacking boxes, organizing en masse and trying to make sense of all the random crap we have (“just donate it” is my new life motto). This top has been great because it covers the bump, doesn’t look too shlumpy with leggings (key for running random errands to get boring crap like a new garbage can and a mop) and is super comfy. And for those of you not dealing with the added weight of being pregnant, it’s NOT maternity and it’s on sale.I threw this exact outfit on for Super Bowl (without the vest and hat since… inside) to look mildly put together since we had friends over for All.The.Snacks. The bump came in handy at Super Bowl since it hid the food baby behind the actual baby.
As a quick side note, I haven’t bought a ton of stuff on SheInside but I grabbed some stuff a while back because I needed some inexpensive basics. It can be a little hit or miss but this was definitely the biggest hit of the bunch I ordered. It’s similar to Forever 21 level quality so just have your expectations at the right level and you’ll be good.
SheInside Color Block Sweatshirt | J.Crew Skinny Maternity Jeans (these ones are a tiny bit short on me – i’m 5’8″ so just order accordingly) | J.Crew Black Excursion Quilted Vest (on sale now)| Nike Gray Sneakers | Coach Pom Pom Hat (sold out, similar here)
Congrats! The bump looks good on you 🙂 Also, great SheIn find. I’ve had some mixed results there, as well, but overall have been pleasantly surprised with the pieces.
Thanks so much Maddy! Totally agree on SheIn. When something is good, it’s great but it takes a few duds to find a winner. xo
Killing it. You look amazing with a bump!
