This morning it snowed one inch. You’d think the world was about to end. No school, closings left and right. It’s madness. Moral of the Story: Here in Louisville, we just can’t handle the snow. On a positive note, it made the drive (once I got on the highway) to work a little easier.

I will say that it is crazy cold outside so I am bundled all the way up and you can bet I’m wearing my favorite new coat. A while back I waxed poetic on my obsession for this cobalt coat. One 40% off sale later and it was at my doorstep (p.s. – you’re in luck if you love it, there’s another 40% off sale today!). I haven’t taken it off since (okay that’s a lie – it was pretty warm a couple weeks ago). The color is great and cheers up any outfit. Consider me a colorful coat convert.

Usually I hate a turtleneck (I have a weird thing about stuff touching my neck) but this one is loose enough that it doesn’t bug me. I’ve been sporting this sweater almost as often as the coat. And to keep the look from being too plain Jane, I got colorful with the shoes and bag. Side note, if you see me out and about in this exact outfit at least 4 times this winter – don’t judge.

The color goes with {almost} everything, it fits tons of stuff, has two handles (one short chain one and a longer strap) and comes in at WAY less than $100.
