What was Puxatawney Phil’s ruling yesterday? Are we getting more winter? I need to google that.
Either way, we’re stuck with sweater weather for a while longer so in an effort to make a simple sweater + jeans combo more fun, I brought back the hat. I know, I know. I’ve been playing this puppy out this fall/winter but I can’t help it. It’s just so great and so clutch on less that stellar hair days.
In sticking with my mission to avoiding buying a bunch of new crap – trying to hold out and save up for spring – I gathered up some inspiration and threw this look together. Thank god for Pinterest and its endless (and mindless) stream of outfit ideas. This is an easy one to throw together and can probably be done by raiding your closet (you may just have to go ahead and splurge on the hat, haven’t I convinced you yet?).
On that note, I was thinking of starting a little series on the weekends where I show how I’ve worn one item (like this hat) a bunch of different ways. That way you don’t have to get your click on to view previous looks. I’ve heard from a couple friends that they like seeing how one item can be worn a bunch of different ways, so if you’re interested in something like this – let me know in the comments so I get my a** moving and get it done.
Anyways, I’m off to conquer that to-do list. Hats off to making it a good one (sorry I’m a nerd).
