For summer weekends (or weekdays with fun plans), when I’m feeling lazy but still need to look put together, I reach for a maxi dress. They make getting dressed so easy, they’re seriously comfortable and even on the hottest of summer days you’ll still stay cool.
I spotted this dress a couple weeks ago when one of my favorite local shops, Dress & Dwell, opened their online boutique. I immediately ordered it and headed north to pick it up in New Albany. Sometimes you just spot something and have to have it. This exact dress isn’t available anymore but they’ve got a great mix of printed dresses on their site.
It was the perfect dress for hitting the town a couple weeks back in Austin for Kelly’s bachelorette and I’ve been breaking it out lately for laid back dinners. Side note, I didn’t realize I was so pale in these pictures. Definitely hadn’t snuck in any pool days (or a VersaSpa visit) yet.
