I’m definitely struggling this morning. I’m 99% sure it’s because the polar vortex outside (sorry i just really wanted to use polar vortex in a sentence) is slowing down my body and the fact that I stayed up until midnight (makes me sound so old) writing my Bachelor recap and watching the Championship game (congrats ‘Noles fans!). On account of that and the giant stack of work I need to tackle, I’m going to keep it short and sweet.
Three things:
1. If you watch The Bachelor and love snarky commentary, feel free to head over to my other blog, secondary embarrassment, where I {will attempt to} write weekly recaps. If you think the show is really a quest for true love or you find a little sarcasm goes a long way – I suggest skipping it. But if not, this is the place for you.
2. I’m obsessed with this Everly dress that I snagged at Dress & Dwell. I have two or three of their blouses and I absolutely love them (seen here). Perfect to dress up a pair of jeans in a hot second. This dress is exactly like the blouses – flattering, easy to wear, great color – and it should fit as I get more and more preg. Oh and it was super reasonable – I think it was $65.
3. Pretty Little Liars comes back tonight. Who’s as excited as I am about this? Anyone? If you don’t watch this show, set your DVR or catch up on Netflix. Swears it’s amazing.
Stay warm out their friends!
Emerald Green Dress: Everly Clothing from Dress & Dwell; Fur Vest: Unknown from Apricot Lane (old); Scarf: Forever 21; Cuff: c/o inPink; Navy Bag: Coach (similar here); Boots: Frye (old)

This dress is such a stunning color. Looks more teal to me actually! Ha, I used to watch Pretty Little Liars but haven’t watched since the first season…

You’re probably right, it’s more teal than emerald! And you should definitely get back on the PLL train!
I love this dress! Dress & Dwell is great, but what I dislike about them (and other stores like them) is that their clothes are made of mostly synthetic materials. Are there any stores in the area that have more “natural” clothing at the same price point?
Hi Rachel – That’s a really good question that I honestly don’t have an answer for BUT I am going to be on the look out moving forward!
I love this shade on you! Great look sista!!!

I love how you took a spring dress and styled it for winter! Looks great with the vest.
