This is going to sound weird but there is something I love about election week – it just feels like the peak of fall to me. I’m pretty positive it has to do with my job since in years past I’ve done a lot of campaign media buying (yes, I’ve been one of those people that you hate – the ones responsible for political advertising) and election week was the finish line. Time to take a deep breath and wait for the results to roll in. Despite not placing a single campaign ad this year, I got the same refreshed feeling driving into work today.
It was with that feeling in mind that I got dressed this morning. Today’s look has touches of some of my favorite things – a comfy & chic (but still office appropriate) silk blouse, corduroy skinnies, a hint of leopard print, booties and a little sparkle – all thrown into one outfit.
Hope you’re kicking off your week on the right foot. Let’s make it a good one & remember to get out there and vote tomorrow!
Blouse: Old Navy (on sale!); Cords: J.Crew Matchstick Cord; Boots: LOFT; Necklace: eBay; Watch: Marc Jacobs; Bracelet: Stella & Dot; Belt: J.Crew (old); Sunglasses: Kate Spade
p.s. – I know you all had been asking “when do we get another office park photo shoot?” You know nothing says fashion like the Eastpoint Office Park! 🙂
I really like this outfit. The dark blue cords with the bright green top and pink necklace…its all paired so well! Great look!
