You know you’ve been on Pinterest and without even thinking about it, added a pair of pom-pom trim anything to a board. Okay deny it all you want to but I will freely admit my love of all things pom-pom trim. 

When I spotted this pair from The Mint Julep boutique, I knew they had to be mine. They are light weight without being see-through (big bonus) and are perfect for throwing on after the pool to run errands or grab a quick dinner. I wore this entire look (without the jean jacket because it was WAY too hot) for a birthday bbq with friends and it was just put-together enough without feeling fussy or too dressy.

Besides the shorts, I found a couple more perfect for summer basics at Mint Julep, I scored this tee (which I’ve worn at least three times since getting it) and this lace tank. Both are simple enough to just throw on without too much though but are a little more fun than a basic white t-shirt; something not boring but that also works with a lot of what you’ve already got in your closet.  Plus, everything I snagged was under $50, another big time bonus.
