Today got away from me. I’ve been trying to catch up at work and home after being away that I just honestly forgot. (I also spent a good chunk of time writing last night’s Bachelor recap on Secondary Embarrassment).

I’m certainly not the only person to say this lately but I am over the weather. The rain, snow and cold just have left me uninspired. I’ve been picking up some fun spring pieces here and there, I’m too excited to hold off on wearing them so it’s been a challenge to look for ways to wear them now and later.

I picked up this pair of mint jeans and then saw this picture. Since it’s a little too cold to go with that alone, I threw on a leather jacket and scarf to stay warm. I’d much rather be pairing them with sandals and a tank though.

What’s calling your {closets} name for spring? Lord knows that for me, it’s a tan!
