Happy New Year’s Eve! I’m excited to ring in a new year while being thankful for all the goodness that came about in 2012.

Before it’s time for an all out sparkle & sequin fest, I thought I’d share this outfit that I wore for an afternoon movie date with the fella. When planning for a couple hours of popcorn eating and snacking, I needed to be comfy. And since it was extra chilly, I added this scarf that I’ve been obsessed with lately. I seriously can’t get enough of it. It’s not online still but check out gap stores because I’ve seen them there… half off. That and these boots have been my slouchy (read: lazy) go to’s.

Oh and since I had to sneak in my own hot chocolate, I jumped at the chance to use my new thermos. Basically, I was trying to incorporate all my fun new Christmas goodies in one post.
