Okay so I definitely know that it’s important to have good pictures and all of that on the blog but sometimes things just don’t turn out quite like you had hoped they would.

Case in point: the pictures in this post.

Today all of the gals from the Southern Blog Society Brunch are linking up to show all the different ways we wore our new Paige Denim Jacket. This jacket has been in serious rotation since I received it. Seriously, I think I’ve worn it three times this week and it’s Thursday. I wore this outfit on Monday, fully intending to get some good images to share. And then a torrential rain storm hit and we were relegated to the porch. Drew tried his best on the pics but the lighting coupled with a puppy and a small human basically threw a wrench in our plans.

I didn’t want to bail on the SBS gals so I decided to pop these pics in today with the promise for more jean jacket loveliness in the future.

Back to the jacket really quick. At first, when I spied the jean jacket’s return I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about it. Mostly because it reminded me of some seriously bad pictures of me from middle school days. But this one fits perfectly and is the softest – feels like you’ve had it for 10 years kind of soft.
