So I wanted to call this post – The Hamburglar but thought that might not be good for searches. It’s also unfortunate that I don’t have a bag of hamburgers on me because that would be clutch (especially now since I feel like I am ALWAYS hungry).

Aside from looking like the Happy Meal bad guy, this has been my all-time favorite maternity outfit. as another side note, can I tell you how much I hate the word maternity? It’s like the word moist to most people, I just can’t stand it. Back to the outfit though, I have this t-shirt in two color combos (this one and blue/white) and it’s been the perfect layering piece plus it’s not maternity so I’ll be able to wear it next fall when I’m back looking like a normal person. All black has pretty much been my uniform (I promise to Insta what I’m wearing today just to prove it) but the addition of the stripes keeps it a little casual.

I wish I had some other fun news or anecdotes to share but life has been dominating me lately so it’s pretty much just work + unpack + make it to bed time all in one piece, repeat these days. I promise to dig up some upcoming events to share along with some inspiration posts in the next few days. Not sure if you’re in the same boat but the winter blues have me needing a little spring inspiration (gotta get out of the all black everything rut).

Quick note on these jeans for all the ladies out there in the market for maternity jeans. Since this is my third go round, I’ve tried a lot of different brands and these J.Crew ones are some of my favorites. They have a regular zipper/button which makes it feel a lot more normal. They are comfy and they hold their shape which is key so they don’t require a ton of adjusting/pull-up. I’m not sure I’ll be able to wear them until the very end but they are really solid for that 5 – 8 month zone.
