Hope you all had a great weekend soaking in the last month of summer. Me and a couple pals took a one night road trip out to the country in Brooksville, KY for a engagement party for a couple friends. It was seriously beautiful and I snapped a couple style spotting pictures so I’ll be sure to share those later this week.

Speaking of sharing pictures, I know I promised the clothes swap post today but work is kicking my ass lately so I’m sneaking in a quick outfit post before getting real with all the clothes swap goodness. I actually wore a variation of this outfit to the clothes swap, so that counts for something right?

My summer (or lifetime) of stripes continues with this skirt that I still can’t believe I found at Forever 21. It definitely seems nicer than the standard Forever finds. I’ve worn it pretty consistently this summer with a t-shirt and flat sandals for getting together with friends (aka the clothes swap) and with wedges and a blouse for casual days at work. For this outfit, I tried to take it up a notch for a day full of meetings by adding the neon heels. That way, I keep the crazy on my feet so as not to totally freak out my clients.

Oh and since my office is like Little Siberia, I keep my jean jacket close by so I don’t totally turn blue.
