It’s come to the point in this nine month escapade where getting dressed in the morning can be a daunting task. I know some people see getting dressed as more of a utility every morning but normally, it’s one of my favorite times of the day. There is some odd joy in putting together the look for the day and hoping that day’s outfit will hit it out of the park (or at least a ground rule double). Yes there are some strike-outs (sorry for all the baseball metaphors – my son has a t-ball game this week so it’s on the brain) but that’s also part of the fun. Lately though, I’ve just been trying to make the team bus and not forget my uniform (okay that’s the last one, I promise).

I’ve talked about how I’ve tried to avoid buying a bunch of maternity clothes but there comes a point when you really just want some stuff that fits, covers the bumps and most importantly, doesn’t make you look like you’ve totally given up. This striped tee has been in heavy rotation since it arrived – super soft, the right length (not too long where it looks like a dress but long enough) and cute. Plus it pairs perfectly with my new sneakers – so that’s a plus.
