I think this past weekend ended up being as busy as the week leading up to it but at least it was packed full of fun and not work meetings. In between a pool day + girl’s night (celebrating my pal Kelly who is getting married THIS SATURDAY!!) and a great Father’s Day dinner, I snuck in a movie date with my Dad. We hit up the swanky new movie theater here (seriously, the St. Matthews Mall movie theater is SO NICE, if you haven’t been yet you need to go) to see Man of Steel.

I’m a huge movie nerd but it’s been a while since I’ve been able to see two movies in one month and I’m pretty excited about it. My verdict on Man of Steel (if you care, which you probably do not): it was good but a little long. Also it has a heavier sci-fi portion that some of the other superhero movies, so just a heads up if you’re not into that kind of thing. It also has the creepy guy from Boardwalk Empire in it and once again, he’s pretty creepy.

Since I always get cold in the movies, I wore this sweater which I scooped from the Milly + Banana Republic collaboration. It’s the perfect weight – not too hot but perfect for chilly air conditioning (need to bring it to work) and the bright coral feels perfect for summer time.
