Today’s post comes with a little help, in the form of this jacket, from my gal Beth at Seersucker + Saddles. See both Beth and I are trying to slow our roll on shopping this year and make use of goodies we have. And what better way to make use of things than sharing them. So this week we each packed up a couple items and shipping them down I-64. You’ll have to wait to see what Beth borrowed from me but today’s here’s a look at one item I borrowed from Beth.
This tweed and leather jacket is the perfect way to take any outfit from basic to polished. I wasn’t really in the mood to get all dolled up on Wednesday when I wore this – thinking that I’d just settle for basic black. But then I remembered the jacket and this awesome necklace that appeared in my mailbox from BaubleBar (more on it later). In a hot second, my lazy look was upgraded. Oh and if you’re worried about the blue & black combo – don’t be. Just make sure the blue pops and you’re all set.
What’s your go-to piece when trying to dress up a basic look?
Jacket: ZARA c/o Seersucuker + Saddles; T-Shirt: Urban Outfitters; Jeans: Banana Republic; Necklace: c/0 BaubleBar; Shoes: BCBG; Bag: Coach; Bracelets: BaubleBar and Stella & Dot
Finding this BaubleBar sparkler in the mail made my week. It’s part of their two-year anniversary collection which is full of their favorite items from the past two years. It’s now one of my favorite BaubleBar pieces and lord knows, I have a bunch to choose from (gotta love a site full of goodies at a price that won’t break the bank).
Be a pal and come hang out on Facebook, Twitter, Bloglovin & Pinterest.
