This weekend we knocked off our entire Fall must-do list in one day. Pumpkin picking at Huber’s Farm, decorating a pumpkin (like Mike Wasowtski from Monsters, Inc. yup, that’s a thing), making fall cookies, hitting up D3’s school fall festival AND doing a ghost walk. Kind of overachieving for a Sunday but since we were motivated, we had to get it all in before our normal lazy Sunday routine kicks back in.
Seriously though, if you’re ever in Louisville in fall – hit up Huber’s for the fried chicken. That stuff is ridiculously good. So proud of myself for being prepared (for once in my life) and making a reservation because that wait list can get hella long. Now I am typing of this and dreaming of fried chicken. Good start to my Monday.
Speaking of Mondays, this is what I wore on the last one when I was feeling entirely unmotivated to get dressed but still needed to look presentable for work. Thankfully, this oversized Gap button-down was just back from the dry cleaners (so lazy that I just don’t iron it myself) so I threw it on over some dark jeans, added this fun, new statement piece from Max & Chloe and added some seriously old black heels. Done and done. I plan on remixing it with black skinny pants when I need to be a little more business-y.
See getting dressed isn’t stressful, you just gotta have those classics on hand and then you just throw ’em all together when you’re running late. Which is basically every day if you’re me.
p.s. – Thanks so much for all the overwhelming kind feedback both online and off on Friday’s post about my grandpa. I really, really appreciate it and can’t say how much it meant to me. Felt like getting a big hug with every comment, text and note. Love you, mean it.

thanks so much Josh!
I ventured over to Hubers this weekend as well, and you aren’t kidding about that wait time! Love this look!
Right!? SO CROWDED! Gotta make those reservations.
You definitely can’t go wrong with an outfit like this. You look gorgeous as always and it’s just such a classic fall look, I love!
